Same Amazing Food, Two Great Locations!
We opened the restaurant in 2003. We chose the name because Route 66 "the Mother Road" became official in circa 1926 and the Triple XXX Thirst Station in West Lafayette, Indiana opened its doors in 1929. We wanted to stay with the same vintage feel for our second location.
The concept of this location is modeled after the gas station/diners you would have found along Route 66 or any highway in that period.
Route 66 Diner seats 85 guests with horse shoe shaped lunch counter reminiscent to diners of the 20's, the remainder of the seating are authentic 1940 and 1950's kitchen "diner tables".
We proudly serve the same delicious food at The Triple XXX with our famous 100% ground sirloin with the addition of soups and salads.
We can accommodate large groups and have had the pleasure of serving many tour bus groups visiting in the area. Our largest group was 105 guests on two buses!!!!
